About this property

Welcome to Ode Toronto

Ode Toronto is a boutique 5-star hotel situated on Dundas St W, offering a blend of personalized service and thoughtfully curated design. The property appeals to guests seeking a unique and intimate stay in a lively, hip neighborhood known for its mix of Portuguese eateries, chic restaurants, bars, and live music venues. While the area scores modestly as a visitor destination, it remains a convenient base for exploring Toronto’s cultural highlights.

Accommodations are characterized by stylish, compact rooms equipped with kitchenettes, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi, making it well suited for solo travelers, couples, or those looking for a home-like experience rather than traditional hotel amenities. The absence of facilities such as breakfast service, an accessible setup, pool, fitness center, and airport shuttle reflects a focus on simplicity and local exploration rather than resort-style offerings. Paid parking is available for guests with vehicles.

Located near major attractions like the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, and Art Gallery of Ontario, Ode Toronto provides easy access to the city’s cultural landmarks. The hotel is also within reasonable travel time to Toronto Pearson International and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airports. Positive guest reviews frequently mention the personalized, family-run nature of the hotel, its thoughtful details, and the welcoming atmosphere.

This property suits travelers who value distinctive, boutique accommodations with a local touch, particularly those comfortable navigating the city independently and eager to experience Toronto’s West Dundas neighborhood. While some guests noted minor confusion with check-in procedures, overall impressions highlight comfort, hospitality, and a peaceful retreat from the city’s bustle.

I absolutely loved my stay at Ode Hotel Toronto. It’s not a traditional hotel chain—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding and truly personalized. The comfort, design, and thoughtful details throughout the property made the whole experience feel unique and memorable. You can tell they care about creating something different here. I felt genuinely valued as a guest and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent stay at Ode. The room was beautiful, with thoughtful touches like black washcloths for makeup removal. (Woman-owned! IYKYK) Everything was clean, tidy, and stylish. Having a kitchenette in the room, plus kettle and Nespresso, was a huge plus. The location was ideal for exploring West Dundas. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. I experienced mild confusion about the check-in process, but staff were communicative and thoughtful in guiding me through. Overall, I was impressed by the value and thoughtful touches at Ode. We love to support family/women/Black-owned businesses! I highly recommend.

A Toronto Gem That Feels Like Home (But Better) Sometimes the best getaways are right in your own backyard. Living just 20 minutes away, I wasn’t sure a staycation would really feel like an escape, but Ode proved me completely wrong. From the moment I arrived, the family who owns this boutique hotel made me feel like an honored guest in their home. There’s something so special about being greeted by the people who’ve poured their hearts into creating this space, and their warmth set the tone for the entire stay. I stayed in the RED room and I honestly cannot rave about it enough. SO cute doesn’t even begin to cover it. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the essentials you’d expect to those little touches you didn’t even know you needed until they were there. After two days, I genuinely didn’t want to leave. The location? Chef’s kiss. Everything you’d want to explore in Toronto is right there, but the hotel itself feels like a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle. To my fellow Toronto locals: do yourself a favor and shake off those winter blues with a stay at the Ode. It’s the perfect reset, and you’ll wonder why you waited so long to treat yourself to something so close to home. Thank you to the Ode family for creating such a special place. I’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for an overnight concert trip with my wife! We booked the plum room and loved the vibes of the Ode, from the comfortable couch to the compact kitchen. A lovely place to stay if you need a spot for a few days! There is no breakfast, however if you walk outside there are so many great breakfast spots within eye shot! A nice hotel in a great location, and not to mention the most colorful and pretty rooms!

My partner and I only stayed a night, and yet we were welcomed with such incredible hospitality, were treated to amenities that go well beyond what a standard hotel or Airbnb would offer, and had a special Toronto touch with all the art features inside! We were informed that all the features inside were also Toronto sourced and made. It was easy to navigate the city from this point as well- it's a quieter neighborhood but close enough to all forms of transit that it's easy to get from one part of the city to another. And to top it all off there are great cafes and restaurants nearby! We enjoyed breakfast right across the street at the little café. Definitely coming back for when I visit for business trips and when I visit friends! Thank you for having us!

I stayed at Ode Toronto for one night as a birthday staycation with my best friend, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need. The room design was on point. Communication from the team was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. The neighborhood is a complete vibe. Great energy, fun spots to explore, and the perfect setting for a little getaway, whether you live in the city like me or are coming from afar! Highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be back!

This was my second visit to Ode, and I would stay again! If you're looking for a lovely boutique hotel, this is it! Perfect for solo travelers and couples if you don't mind getting cozy. Ode is family-owned and its personalized hospitality and positive vibes shine through. Be sure to check out their rooftop patio.

A chic and beautifully curated boutique hotel that immediately feels warm and welcoming. Especially the iwelcome texts and generated email with the automated signature saying "we love you" brought me to tears after a stressful week. The hospitality industry needs more of this genuine touch. Small details like this really made my stay at Ode memorable. The family-run, black-owned nature of the property truly sets it apart and adds a level authenticity that’s rare. You can feel the care and soul in absolutely every detail: the decor, the toronto based items in the room, the. Smeg appliances, the conversation card games, and the yoga mats. They recommended the stunning black and yellow room, graciously accommodated a late checkout, check in was simple and they shared excellent neighborhood restaurant recommendations.(Sunrise restaurant amazing) A refined yet comforting stay that felt personal, thoughtful, and effortlessly luxurious. Highly recommended.
